External Dependence and Internal Fulfillment
Your bills are stacking, your worries are many, and your goals are far. Oh, how terrible life is. But is it really?
Much of life has little to do with how it is, and more with how we interpret it—and how we interpret it is determined by our mindset. Or, as I like to describe it: your attitude.
One person may be miserable and stressed about what tomorrow might bring, while another enjoys life, saying, “Come what may.” One attitude is rooted in the fear of loss, and the other in acceptance. One is burdened by external dependence, while the other is free through internal fulfillment; one is born of greed, and the other of gratitude.
No matter how good or bad your life is, you're the one who decides to suffer it or enjoy it.
